1. PROMOTER

The Fantasy ICC Women's World Cup 2017 Game (the ‘Game’) is operated by GFM Clevergames (the ‘Promoter’) under licence from IBC Business Corporation FZ LLC. Any advertisers associated with the Game, if any, shall be deemed a Promoter for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Game is open to residents of the United Kingdom and all countries where the Game is not prohibited or unlawful, who are eighteen (18) years or older as of the date of entry (or such higher age as is required in accordance with the laws of your country), and are registered members of icc-cricket.com/fantasy (Registration is free and is further described below). The following are not eligible for the Game: (i) employees and agents of IBC and the Promoter and their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and each of their respective advertising/promotion agencies, and anyone involved in the organisation and running of the Game; and (ii) the ‘immediate family members’ of any of the persons set forth in (i) above. ‘Immediate family members’ shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings or spouses. Participation in the Game constitutes Entrants' full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions and to the Promoter and IBC's decisions. The decisions of the Promoter and IBC regarding all matters relating to the Game are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be determined based on their ability to accumulate the most points in the Game. The Game is void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable local, state, federal and municipal regulations.

3. ENTRY PAGE

To access and/or enter the Game, log on to fantasy.icc-cricket.com (the ‘Website’) during the Promotion Period and complete your entry by clicking on the ‘Play Now’ button and completing the entry form.

4. REGISTRATION

To play the Game, Entrants must register for the Game by clicking on the applicable link on the entry page for the Game, and following the instructions. Registration is free.

You will be asked to provide your Display Name, First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Number, Country of Residence, Date of birth, favourite international team and to select a username and password.

You will also be asked if you wish to receive promotional emails or offers. You do not need to consent to receive these emails or offers in order to become a member. Even if you consent, you may subsequently opt-out of receiving such emails or offers by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link on the emails.

You are responsible for the security of your password. The Promoter, IBC and any other third parties are not responsible or liable for any actions taken using your password.

5. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Entrants' personal information will be used in accordance with IBC’s current published Privacy Policy (click here to view) and may be accessed by or passed to the Promoter to administer the Game, send out prizes and to enable the Promoter and IBC to promote the Game in any media including without limitation online and publishing channels and on IBC’s social media pages. Any personal data you submit via the registration process will be securely stored, hosted and maintained by the Promoter. Depending on your selections during signup to the game, you may be sent information from the Promoter (related only to the Game) or IBC directly. Your data will not be shared with any other third party. Personal information will only be used for marketing purposes if you are given the choice and if you have consented to receive future marketing from IBC (you may have already done this if you have registered your details with IBC previously). Entrants may opt-out from receiving any promotional emails at any time.

6. TIMING

Registration for the Game begins on 20 June 2017 at 12:00 GMT. The Game begins on 24 June 2017 at 09:30 GMT (the scheduled start of the first match of the ICC Women's World Cup 2017) and ends on 23 July 2017 (the ‘Promotion Period’). Any team entries submitted after 09:30 GMT on 24 June 2017 will score points from the start of the following match.

7. HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

The Game relates to the ICC Women's World Cup 2017 (the ‘Tournament’). There are two fundamental ways to play the Game:

  • Classic

  • Super 6

Classic

General: The objective of the Classic Game is to accumulate the most points (see ‘Scoring’ below) over the course of the Promotion Period. Entrants must select their team from the player list. Each Entrant may select one team. Each team must consist of 11 (eleven) players, making sure each team has up to a maximum of 4 (four) players from any one nation and the correct number of players in each position (see ‘line-up’ below).

How to make your selections: You may enter your selections online by following the instructions in the Rules section of the game. To score points for a match, selections must be submitted prior to the first scheduled start of a phase. Player points scored from matches played earlier in the Tournament will not be added retrospectively.

Line-up: In order to submit a valid line-up your team must meet a set of rules designed to ensure the game remains competitive. Every player has been valued between 2 and 10. You must select eleven players with a budget of 75, ensuring the following team composition criteria is met:

  • 2-5 Batters

  • 1-3 Wicket-keepers

  • 1-4 All-rounders

  • 2-5 Bowlers

Note: You may select up to 4 (four) players from any one nation. This increases to 6 (six) for the Semi-Finals and 8 (eight) for the Final.

Transfers: Up until the start of the Tournament on 24th June 2017 you can make unlimited transfers to your team for free.

During the Tournament, you will have the following transfer restrictions:

  • Each round of matches constitutes its own round in the game. You will have an allocation of five transfers for each of the seven Group Stage rounds;

  • Between the end of the Group Stage and the first Semi-Final, you can make unlimited transfers;

  • Between the first and second Semi-Finals you can make five transfers.

  • Before the Final you can again make unlimited transfers.

The transfer deadline is the scheduled start of the first match in each round. Transfers made after this time will not become active until the following round.

Unused transfers will not roll over.

You can make an unlimited number of Power Player (see ‘Scoring’ below) changes during the Tournament.

Team Names: The Promoter and IBC reserve the right to refuse to accept team names that are felt in their sole opinion to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and the team will appear under the Entrant's name.

Super 6

General: The objective of Super 6 is to accumulate the most points (see ‘Scoring’ below) over the course of each fixture. Entrants must select their team from the player list. Each Entrant may select one team. Each team must consist of 6 (six) players, making sure each team has the correct number of players in each position (see ‘line-up’ below).

How to make your selections: You may enter your selections online by following the instructions in the Rules section of the game. To score points for a match, selections must be submitted a minimum 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of play. Player points scored from matches played earlier in the Tournament will not be added retrospectively.

Line-up: In order to submit a valid line-up your team must meet a set of rules designed to ensure the game remains competitive. Every player has been valued between 2 and 10. You must select six players with a budget of 45, ensuring the following team composition criteria is met:

  • 1-5 Batters*

  • 1-4 All-rounders

  • 1-5 Bowlers

* All Wicket-keepers have been classified as Batters in Super 6.

4 The Player of the Match bonus points are awarded in line with the official ICC Player of the Match.

Points are awarded as per Opta statistics, and subject to change.

Power Player: Entrants must select a ‘Power Player’ for each match during the Game. Their designated Power Player will have their match score doubled (regardless of whether the points scored are positive or negative).

Abandoned Matches In the event that a match starts, but does not finish (i.e. if a 'No Result' is declared), all players will still score points for that match, however long it may be.

If a match is decided by the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method, all players will score points earned during the match, however long it may be.

Super Over In the event of a tie in a Semi-Final or the Final, a Super Over will be played. All players will earn points for actions during the Super Over. There is one exception to this: Super Over actions do not contribute to economy rates and strike rates.

Playerlist The players included on the player list and their positional classifications have been determined by Promoter and IBC. Neither party will enter into any correspondence relating to details of the player list, nor will they accept the inclusion into a team of any player not on the published list, although players may be added during the competition.

All player values have been based on a number of factors, including international record, recent global form, strength of team, and likelihood of featuring.

Player values are fixed, and will not change throughout the Tournament.

Umpires and Referees The decision of the Tournament officials responsible for officiating the games is final and binding regarding the outcome and scoring of each match. The decision on the Player of the Match is made by the ICC commentary team and is final and binding.

Accuracy The Promoter and IBC will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the Game information on the Website and to update such information on a regular basis, but do not guarantee that such information will be accurate or up-to-date at all times.

8. NO ENTRY FEE

There is no entry fee required to participate in the Game. Only entries received in accordance with these Terms of Play will be accepted. No other forms of entry will be accepted. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void.

9. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON

A strict rule of a maximum of ‘one team per person' (regardless of the number of email addresses or registered accounts), or ‘one team per email address' (regardless of whether more than one person uses the same email address), will be enforced during the Promotion Period (or per match for the Super6 game type only) and will result in any suspected multiple Entrants, in the sole opinion of the Promoter and IBC, having all teams removed from the Game.

10. CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY

Entries correctly submitted via the Website will result in an acceptance message on the Website (which Entrants are advised to print out and keep) confirming the Entrant's email address, password and team name and these details will be confirmed to the Entrant by email.

12. ENTRY ERRORS/NO RETURN OF ENTRIES; DISPUTES

Neither the Promoter nor IBC shall be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Neither the Promoter nor IBC are responsible for any unavailability of or interruptions to any service or equipment used in connection with the Game, including, without limitation, (1) interruptions to any network, server, Internet, website, telephone, satellite, computer or other connections (2) failures of any telephone, satellite, hardware, software or other equipment, (3) garbled, misdirected or jumbled transmissions, or traffic congestion, or (4) other errors of any kind, whether human, technical, mechanical or electronic, or (5) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of IBC and the Promoter and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Promoter's computer record of the entry will be considered to be the official entry. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. Potential winners may be required to show proof of identification. Either IBC or the Promoter may require that the potential winner provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address and/or password associated with the winning entry. A potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected (i.e., the next highest scorer) if he/she does not comply with these rules (or is otherwise determined to be ineligible). IBC and the Promoters accept no responsibility whatsoever for anything that may be published on any area of the Game where user-generated content may be posted.

13. PRIZE CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE

If no response is received after the Promoter has made reasonable efforts to make contact and within a reasonable period of time, or a winner declines to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to the next highest scorer. Any prize which is returned or cannot be delivered may be used for another competition or given to charity. Neither the Promoter nor IBC will have any responsibility to anyone who has not responded. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Winners are solely responsible for any and all expenses, relative to participation in the Game (including acceptance of any prize) not specified herein.

14. CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

Entrants shall not attempt to make contact with any players or player support personnel participating in the Tournament in relation to the Game, and shall not otherwise attempt to access non-publicly available information about team selection or strategy for the purposes of their participation in the Game. Participation constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Terms of Play and to the Promoter's decisions. The decisions of the Promoter and/or IBC in regards to all matters of the Game are final and binding.

15. CANCELLATION OR DISQUALIFICATION

The Promoter and IBC reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Game and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Terms and Conditions, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner which contravenes the spirit of the Game. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter and/or IBC may lock out an Entrant who, in their sole judgment, has been disqualified, has questionable eligibility or is otherwise ineligible to enter.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter and/or IBC may modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Game if, in the sole opinion of the Promoter and/or IBC, an incident of any kind occurs to corrupt or impair the administration, security, integrity, fairness or play (as intended) of the Game, including without limitation: (a) viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or technical failure; or (b) earthquake, flood, fire, storm or other natural disaster, act of God; or (c) labour controversy or threat thereof, civil disturbance or commotion, disruption of the public markets, war or armed conflict (whether or not officially declared). In the event that the Tournament is postponed, terminated early, or cancelled for any reason (such as a strike or lockout), the Promoter and/or IBC reserve the right to award prizes based on scores at the time the Tournament is disrupted, or to cancel, modify or suspend the Game at its discretion. In the event of a cancellation or termination by the Promoter or IBC, the Entrant who has accumulated the highest point total (and who wins any pending tiebreakers) at the time of any said action will be awarded the prizes, or the prizes will be awarded in such other manner deemed fair and appropriate by the Promoter.

16. GAMBLING PROHIBITION

The Game is strictly for entertainment purposes and may not be used in connection with any form of gambling.

17. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

The Promoter and IBC do not make any representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, relating to the Game or prizes, and are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment, hardware, software or programming associated or used with the Game; (2) technical errors, defects, delays or failures of any kind, including without limitation malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in communications lines, Internet or website access, hardware or software; (3) digital or electronic disruptions, e.g., viruses; (4) unauthorized human intervention, e.g., hacking; (5) technical or human error which may occur in connection with any aspect of the Game; (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant's participation in the Game, access to, copying or downloading materials from the Website or any other website, or receipt or use of any prize. Entrants' legal rights as consumers are not affected.

18. COPYRIGHT

These Terms of Play and all material within the Game are the copyright of IBC. No information may be reproduced in any format without prior written consent from the Promoter.

19. GOVERNING LAW

The interpretation of these Terms of Play (including any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with the Game) shall be governed exclusively and in all respects by English law.
